Was inaugurated on Saturday May 1st, 1999 and opened its doors for business on Monday, May 3rd, 1999. During that period, all business transactions were performed manually and continued for 4 years thereafter. On January 2nd, 2000, a branch Manager and subsequently a customer service/clerk was employed giving way for a 5 business day service.
The Sarteneja branch has grown in assets and membership. At the end of the fiscal year ended March 31st, 2012, the branch reported a total membership of 1,605 and a loan portfolio of $1,583,926 with a share capital of $1,448,297. This branch continues to provide service to its membership and looks forward to capitalize on the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
